Running Water
Purpose
This is a fun, wet activity. The child develops and strengthens his/her finger muscles which may contribute to proper grasp of writing tools.
Materials
Bucket, Container, Eyedropper, Squirt Bottle, Water
Skills
Finger Strength, Hand Arches/Separation, Intrinsic Muscle Development
Description
Place two containers or buckets on opposite sides of the room or the area you play at. Fill up one of the containers with water (you may add food coloring if you wish) and have the child transfer the water from one container to the other using a squeeze bottle or an eye dropper.
