Bilateral Hand Use, Cutting, Hand Arches/Separation, Pincer Control, Pincer Grasp

Purpose

This activity promotes the development of the cutting skill. Letting the child cut an easy media such as straws is a great way to introduce and practice cutting.

Description

Let child cut the straws into ½ inch pieces. Then, let him/her lace the small straw pieces into the string/yarn.
